The Organizing Committee of the International Symposium of Urban and Regional Development (ISURDEV) is honoured to invite our scientists and researchers to the 2nd INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM of URBAN and REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT to be held at Dicle University between 19 December 2024 - 21 December 2024.
New approaches and developments in urban and regional development have been determined as the main theme of the 2nd International Symposium of Urban and Regional Development. In this context, primarily economic, political, administrative effects and results; City and Region Definitions, City and Regional Planning, Development Models, Development Dynamics, Globalization and the Regional Phenomenon, Regionalization Trends, Spatial Polarization - Ground Mobility, Regional Inequality, Interregional Imbalance, Comparative Regional Analyzes, Sustainable Development, Green Development, Rural Development, New Regionalism, Development Agencies, Lifelong Learning, Higher Education / Vocational Education and Development, Poverty, Migration Case, Learning Regional, Urban Identity, Smart Cities, Local Dynamics, Energy, The Phenomenon of Tourism, Health and Agriculture, Other Disciplines etc. Participation in studies on the subject is expected. Although it is out of the scope of the main theme, the papers suitable for the title of the Symposium will also be accepted for evaluation.
The 2nd International Symposium of Urban and Regional Development contributes to meeting the criteria for associate professorship, appointment and promotion. The works of the participants who wish can be published as an Editorial book section that complies with the Academic Incentive Criteria and has an ISBN number, provided that it also passes the referee's evaluation.
The presentation languages are Turkish and English, and the presentations will be held face-to-face or online.
